Preparation that stays calm

Resilyo turns emergency preparedness into a calm household routine: a 7-day home stock sized for the people who actually live with you, a 72-hour bag for each of them, and fifteen short guides. Everything works offline, with no account.

Three steps, then it runs quietly

Resilyo is set up in a couple of minutes and asks nothing of you afterwards but the occasional tick.

  1. Tell it who lives here

Adults, children, babies — and how many days you want to cover, from 3 to 14. Every recommended quantity is recalculated for your household.

  2. Fill your shelves at your own pace

Twenty categories, from water to first aid. Add what you already own, let the app estimate expiry dates, and get a shopping list of exactly what is missing.

  3. Stay ready without thinking about it

The dashboard shows how many days you would hold out and which category runs out first. Local reminders warn you before anything expires.

How many days would you hold out?

Resilyo turns your shelves into one honest number — your autonomy in days. It is set by your weakest essential food category, so you always know what to fix next.

  • An autonomy ring in days, against a target you choose from 3 to 14
  • Names the category that would run out first — usually water
  • Only stock that has not expired counts towards it
  • Tap a weak category to jump straight to what is missing

A home stock that knows your household

Twenty categories — water, staples, proteins, tinned vegetables, dairy, fruit, health, equipment and more — with quantities computed for the people who actually live with you.

  • Recommended quantities based on official public guidance
  • Switch off what you do not eat and the app redistributes the rest across the same category
  • Expiry dates estimated from typical shelf life, clearly flagged so you can correct them
  • Fill a whole category in one tap, and let the shopping list write itself

One 72-hour bag per person

A bag is created automatically for every member of your household — around 26 items for an adult, 23 for a child, 33 for a baby — and a global view keeps them all in step.

  • A bag per adult, child and baby, created and named for you
  • A global view that shows what is packed in every bag at once
  • A separate departure checklist for the day you actually leave
  • Eight last-minute items — phone, keys, medication, glasses — kept in their own list

Fifteen short guides, and tips that fit your home

About fifty minutes of reading in total, split into five themes and unlocked one at a time, plus 130 practical tips filtered to your storage and your family.

  • 15 illustrated guides across 5 themes, from mindset to crisis management
  • Read the full version or a bulleted summary — your choice, on every guide
  • 130 tips that only appear if they apply to you: a cellar tip if you have a cellar
  • A visual learning path that tracks how far you have come

France and its overseas territories, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Monaco, Andorra.

  • United Kingdom & Ireland

Shelf staples and brands you would actually find in a British or Irish shop.

  • United States & Canada

North American staples, with imperial or US units and dollars.

Reminders that never raise your pulse

Every notification is scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere, and nothing is designed to alarm you.

  • Before things expire

A warning 30 days, 7 days and 1 day ahead, at nine in the morning — so food gets eaten, not thrown away.

  • Twice a year

A gentle nudge on 15 January and 15 July to walk through your stock and rotate what needs it.

  • Discreet by choice

Turn on discreet mode and notifications stop naming what is in your cupboards on your lock screen.

Questions people actually ask

Short answers. Longer ones live in the guides inside the app.

What does Resilyo actually do?

Resilyo helps a household prepare calmly for everyday disruptions such as a power cut, a water cut or a short supply shortage. It tracks a home stock sized for the people who live with you, a 72-hour bag for each of them, and fifteen short guides. It works offline and needs no account.

Does Resilyo work without an internet connection?

Yes. Every preparation feature works with the network off, and you can complete the whole setup offline. The app only ever reaches the network for four things you control: an optional update check that you can switch off, a purchase or restore you started, a store review, and a bug report you send from your own mail app.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no account, no email and no password. Your content stays on your device in a local database, and you can export a checksum-signed backup at any time to move it to a new phone.

How is my autonomy in days calculated?

Resilyo looks at each essential food category, works out how many days it would last for your household, and keeps the weakest one. That is why the dashboard does not just show a number — it also names the category that would run out first, so you know exactly what to buy next. Stock that has passed its expiry date stops counting.

How many days should I prepare for?

You choose a target between 3 and 14 days. Seven days is the default and the usual recommendation, because it covers the large majority of everyday disruptions. Three days is already far better than nothing, and you can raise the target whenever you like.

What goes into the 72-hour bag?

A bag is created automatically for each person: around 26 items for an adult, 23 for a child and 33 for a baby. They cover water and food, a torch and batteries, a hand-crank radio, first-aid basics, copies of your ID and some cash. Eight last-minute items you cannot pack in advance — phone, charger, keys, current medication, glasses — sit in their own list.

How much does Resilyo cost?

Downloading Resilyo is free, and the free version stays genuinely useful for a one-adult household. A single optional in-app purchase unlocks the rest — multi-person households, all the guides and tips, the shopping list, exports and backups — for life. There is no subscription and no advertising.

Is Resilyo only for extreme scenarios?

No, quite the opposite. It is built for ordinary households and ordinary disruptions: a storm that cuts the power for two days, a burst main, a few empty shelves. The tone stays factual and calm, the quantities are based on official public guidance, and nothing in the app is designed to frighten you into action.
