What Osir is

A diet app, designed to adapt to the person following it.

  • A diet that fits you

A programme in several stages. The week's menus take into account your tastes and what you have chosen to leave out.

  • Day-to-day tracking

You log your weigh-ins and see where you stand, stage after stage. Your data stays on your phone.

  • Understand what you are doing

Short lessons explain each stage of the programme, so you know why instead of following blindly.

Osir is for adults only and does not replace medical advice: talk to your doctor before you start.

Four words

What the name carries.

  • Renewal

Every week starts again, lighter. What is taken away prepares what grows back.

  • Endurance

The djed is Osiris's backbone, the sign for stability. The long way is walked one day at a time.

  • Daring

Osir, oser. To begin, to begin again, to choose one’s own course.

  • Balance

Maat's feather, a heart weighed light. Never a voice that shouts.

Three seasons

A cycle the programme walks.

  • Akhet

The flood. The water covers the land and prepares it.

  • Peret

The sprouting. The grain rises on the silt.

  • Shemu

The harvest. What was sown is gathered.

The story

Seth killed Osiris, cut his body into fourteen pieces and scattered them across Egypt.

Isis found them one by one and put him back together, and Osiris came back: the god with green skin, the god of the grain that grows again.

In the tombs, the Egyptians laid Osiris beds, clay figures sown with barley, which germinated in the dark.

And in Osir a French ear hears oser: to dare.
